It's nice to know that most of you folk are enjoying a White Christmas.
Down at this end it's very warm, and snow is unknown, but the Christmas
decorations always have holly leaves, snowflakes, sleighbells and so on
as the main theme. Old northern traditions die hard even when
transplanted to the southern hemisphere, and most folk have a fairly
light Christmas dinner, but the roast turkey and plum pudding have
nowadays been postponed to a mid-year winter Christmas celebration. But
I still insist on the traditional fruit mince pies! And I'm the cook on
Christmas Day!
