Nice to hear from you again.
We certainly had a front room that was not used very much in our 1930'2
semi.
The problem these days is that a lot of houses in the UK are built with a
through lounge.
Our daughter is buying a house with two separate f=rooms, but they intend to
knock both rooms into one. We cannot dissuade them!
In this house, it would not be a holy of holies. It would be used!!!
when we retire we are going to have a house with two living rooms, we
