Yes, Lynda.......
There are other "collectors" in the group. I collected coffee mugs for
years and have moved......now have no place to display my collection! I
have also collected pigs for years......mostly ceramic and
cement. I have pigs everywhere & still look for new ones, imagine!
Last summer, I had a huge mother pig and 2 smaller baby pigs (cement)
displayed on my front porch & someone stole all three, having t come past my
front door to do so. So, this spring, I have gone out and bought a VERY
LARGE hog, black and white cement & every bit as large as an adult hog, and
it is amongst my flowers in my back yard. My 2 grandsons (ages 2 and 5),
race each other to get on the big pig in my back yard when they come & spend
a great deal of time riding it when they visit........then I have all the
way
down to some tiny pewter pigs, mother & 2 babies again, that are
less than an inch tall.
My ex-father-in-law brought the pigs that were stolen back to me from a
vacation many years ago; and, liked to laugh & tell visitors that my
collecting of pigs was the reason that I had married their son!
He always thought that that was quite a funny joke.....
Oh well, you get the idea.....I can display a pig anywhere, so I have
many throughout my house, and now within my privacy fence in my back yard.
