It is my sad duty to inform genealogists and other interested parties of the
death earlier today of my dear great aunt, Zofia Puslowska, nee HSH Princess
Zofia Jablonowska (1908-2004), Dame of Honour & Devotion in the Sovereign
Military Order of Malta.

With her death the Princely House of Jablonowski has become extinct and the
final chapter has been closed on a 500 year story.

Zofia was the daughter of HSH Stanislaw, 4th Furst Jablonowski and, for 68
years, was the beloved wife of Xavier Puslowski (1906-1998), the son of
Count Wladyslaw Puslowski by his wife Princess Christina Pignatelli d'Aragon
y Cortes [herself the daughter of Emily Frances Ida Cavendish of the
Devonshire line and thus a cousin of The Queen)]. Zofia and Xavier died
without issue.

his wife Countess Maria Elizabeth Dzieduszycka.
