I'm afraid I can't really answer your question, but I may be able to send you in
the direction of an answer.
I know that there were two Francis Beaumonts in 16th-century England. I also
know that one was the father of the other.
The father was a Cambridge man, and he was alive in 1597, but I don't know much
else about him.
The son was born in 1584, married (as far as I know, only once) in 1613, and
died in 1616. He wrote several plays for the Elizabethan stage -- most of them
in collaboration with John Fletcher (who later collaborated with Shakespeare in
the writing of some of Shakespeare's last plays).
You might therefore be able to find out more about your Francis Beaumont by
exploring academic libraries for books about Beaumont and Fletcher, the
dramatists.
