Leopold I, King of the Belgians (1790-1865), had two children by Arcadia
Meyer née Claret (1926-1897), namely Georges (born 14.11.1849) and Arthur
(born 25.9.1852). In 1862 the sons were added to the hereditary nobility
of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha under the title of "Freiherr von
Eppinghoven", and in 1863 Arcadia was created "Baronin von Eppinghoven" ad
personam.

The newest issue of GHDA covers the male-line descendants of Leopold and
Arcadia. All of the living von Eppinghovens live in Canada.
