I see that Charles II had numerous illegitimate offspring (in
particular with Barbara Villiers). Their descendents are
liberally sprinkled throughout Debrett's & Burke's.

I'm looking for a good book reference that deals with this subject
from a "non-genealogical" point of view - ie information on Charles II
affairs & mistresses and some information on the Fitroy's in particular.

On the same topic: George Fitzroy, Duke of Northampton (1665-1716)
married
Catherine Wheatley (-1714). Did they have any children? Paul Theroff has
none listed at his website.
