Louis II von Hessen und bei Rhine, had a son, Pr. Alexander Ludwig, etc, b.
15 Jul 1823, d. 1888 (m. Countess Julie von Hauke).

Had five children:
Marie
Louis Alexander
Alexander of Bulgaria
Henry Maurice
Franz Josef

some of these were listed as Battenbergs, others were Hessen und bei Rhine.
Which is correct? Or are they all different designations?
