not a public burying ground, or a Forbes burying ground. The only Forbes
entries were James >Forbes' family.
John [I] Forbes was married to the widow of Jowles, and George Forbes was
married to the sister-in-law of Jowles. I think it's conceivable that
Forbes relatives of John and George could have been buried in the Jowles
(Sothoron) cemetery in a pinch. No Somerset Smiths were apparently buried
in the Jowles (Sothoron) burying ground.

of James Forbes.
But we have no independent record of the existence, name, or age of James'
suspected wife (but I agree he probably had one since he had two sons).
>There is more that was taken into account than what appears in the limited
pages of the article.
Experts decided behind closed doors that it 'must' be correct .... Maybe
these 'other' reasons will now be divulged.
