NGSQ is so careful that they have their contributing authors sign a release,
along with a statement that the work is the author's own (I guess so that NGSQ
would not be liable shoud taht author have actually swiped it). I know of a
few instances in which someone did actually try to publish an article, swiping
the sources material from others without credit. Luckily the editors became
aware of this and did not publish the articles, though those who submitted them
never admitted fault.
