Does anyone know anything about Irish and Scots mercenaries travelling to Poland under Og Orrell, to support the flailing french catholic monarch there, abt 1616, (was Henry of Anjou, son of Medicis, still King of Poland?) Where might one find proof or refutation of them staying for a generation or two? are there any military rolls or lists ? return passes or whatever?
