Carlos,
She is not only living, but aged, this meaning that now she USES her
title and, besides, she has become a writer of her family's history
(making a defense, even an apology, of some "infamous" ancestors, whom
she is trying to "clean" their names). The Medina Sidonia Palace has
been transformed into an Archive, open for any kind of investigations.
The Duchess herself, and her elder son, are President and
Vicepresident, respectively, of the Foundation.
There is a site on the web, but I cannot find the URL.
So, the famous "Duquesa Roja" or "La Roja" is something that belongs to
the past, she is now very concerned with her own surname (well, being
Alvarez de Toledo she ought to have been concerned always, but that's
another story).
Warmest regards.
Joe.
