Absolute certainty about anything is impossible, but electronic articles can
be saved on CD's and hard drives in many locations. They can then be
transferred to any other media that might come along. Say what you will about
the digital age, information stored digitally and in diverse places will
likely outlast the pyramids, provided that people think the content is worth
translating as storage technology changes.
