Hello Becky,
I'm uncertain of the Llewelyn referred to in your post. Those whom I do
recognize are:
1. Gruffydd ap Cynan, king of Gwynedd [northern Wales], born ca. 1055
probably in Dublin, Ireland, son of the exile Cynan ap Iago and
his wife Ragnaillt or Ragnhild, daughter of Olaf Sigtryggsson of
Dublin. He returned twice to fight for his rights in Gwynedd,
succeeded with the help of Rhys ap Tewdwr [Tudor] in 1081. He
had a mixed career (he spent much of the period 1082-1094 in
an English prison, and again driven into exile ca. 1098/1099],
but he did reestablish his family in Gwynedd. Amongst others,
he was the great-grandfather of Llywelyn Fawr, or the Great,
prince of Wales (d. 1240).
2. Edward I, King of England (1272-1307), aka Edward 'Longshanks',
I assume needs no introduction. Or explanation.
I did not recognize any of the Welsh place-names in your post, but if I
note one in subsequent reading (if you are looking for that information) I
will post it.
Good luck and good hunting. Or as the Welsh would say,
Good health and long life! [Of course they would say it in Welsh]

I have this, from a file I call "Make sense later": ( I believe they are
speaking of Wales)
"He is said to have lived in Gruffydd ap Cynan's time. The ruins of the
house, Llys Bradwen, are to be seen in the township of Cregenan, in the
hundred of Talybont Iscregenan. Llewelyn ap Tudor ap Gwyn ap Peredur ap
Ednowain ap Bradwen, lived in the time of Edward the first, and did him
homage with the Lords of gentry of Wales, as by the said King's records in
manifest".
Does anyone have information about any of these people so I can make a bit
of sense out of this?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
My apologies to the person whom wrote the above, my only defense for not
having you credited with this is my naivet to genealogy at the time. Should
someone know where this came from, please enlighten me so I can give just
credit where it is due.
