Dear Helen,

Your reply above was posted above a whole host of earlier comments
without an indication of which particular comment you were responding
to. In other words you posted upside-down rather than in chronological
order. This tactic effectively buggers the essential "forum" nature
of UseNet.

Hope you don't mind me pointing this out although I'm sure that you're
aware of this after your two years self-confessed Usenet usage. Also
trimming reposts to salient points shows consideration to other members
of the UseNet community as does setting your line lengths to about 70-75
characters. It goes without saying that unnecessary cross-posting should
be avoided.

The reason I've singled you out for these observations is that there
has been far too much of this good will towards all men of late. Having
read your recent offerings on UseNet, I've decided to permit you the
honour of having myself as your first new enemy of 2000. With this in
mind, I would appreciate it you would kindly throw a little tantrum and
scream about how you've always posted upside-down and will continue to
do so.

On this occasion I've left your cross-posts intact.

With best wishes
