Excellent question. It was asked of the TMG staff earlier this year on
CompuServe. I know that there are others on this list who use TMG and
are much more familiar with the technical aspects of GEDCOMs and the
like than I am. With any luck, they will chime in here. But until they
do,
here's a little food for thought --

Re: exporting from TMG. Yes, there are some programs that won't be
able to handle all of the data (although the specific program names didn't
come up in the conversation). I don't think the data is lost in the
transfer,
just stuck in miscellaneous "notes" fields perhaps.

As for importing from TMG, the following is a January 1998 press release

TMG which might be helpful. And as I have said before, I have no financial
