Roisin,
Thank you very much for following up on Brian Boru's families. I was one
who responded that based on Morgan Llywelyn's genealogical information (I added
that she gave her sources)that Brian's daughter did indeed marry King Malcolm.
We who enjoy historical fiction also check the author's notes for what is fact
and what parts are fiction.
I would be interested in knowing if Llywelyn's sources say whether the
mother of Slani was actually Eadraich (Achra) who is named as Brian's second
wife in the young adult version of "Lion of Ireland", which is called, "Brian
Boru, Emporer of Ireland"?
