They are half sisters. Juana de Castro was dau of Pedro Fernandez de Castro
and his wife Isabella Ponce de Leon. Ines de Castro was dau of Pedro's
mistress(?) Aldonza Suarez de Valladares. Hopefully I interpreted Antonio
Calera's spanish correctly.
