their grandson John Digby who married Elizabeth Oleville. John and
Elizabeth had Mary Digby (of Tilton) who married John de Stockton. I was
sent this information by a cousin with unknown sources. I sure could use a
look/see to find support. It is a line that goes back to Charlema gne, but
these are the four generations that I have not yet been able to get
supporting evidence on. THANKS in advance for any assistance.

An Arabella Harcourt dau. of Sir William H of Stanton Harcourt (b.1227
d.1270) and his first wife Alice La Zouche (m. 1250 d. before feb 1256 which
was the date of Sir William's second marriage) m. Sir Fulk
Pembrugge.[Europaeische Stammtafeln X:139]. No dates are given for Arabella
or Fulk and no other marriage for Arabella is indicated, but this silence
does not of itself mean that she did not have another marriage. I can find
no other Arabella and the dates for Sir William H and Sir Richard H his heir
suggest Arabella wife of Fulk may well be the person in question. You would
need to consult as a first step the Calendar of Inqisitions post Mortem for
mention of Fulk Pembrugge, Arabella's father, her half-brother Sir Richard H
(d.1 Mar 1293) and/or Sir John Digby. This is may not be much help, but
someone else may have more on the Digby family.
