There's no need to actually go to Windsor. A phone call to the bookshop
revealed that they take telephone orders against credit cards. They
charged me #1.30 for postage and I received the book two days after
ordering. I can't remember the telephone number but I got it through
directory enquiries.

The book gives a chronological listing of all Garter Knights and (in a
separate section) a few details on each. This includes date of joining,
when they died, titles held and, if appropriate, when they were thrown
out or resigned. Not much genealogical information but if one book had
everything I wouldn't have anything left to do!

A nice little book and excellent service :-)

Geoff
