Here is what I have:
Savoy Heritage, 1621 to Present by Louis Germain Savoy (Smithtown, NY:
Exposition Press, 1983 - ISBN 0-682-499552) indicates he was of Royal
Blood. No proof is given for this statement.
He is listed in the 1671 Acadian Census
"Francois Savoye, 50, wife, Catherine LeJeune; children: Francoise 18,
Germain 16, Marie 14, Jeanne 13, Catherine 9, Francoise 8, Barabe 6,
Andree 4, Marie 2; cattle 4."
