I recently came across a reference in the NDB to the marriage of Georg III
Count of Montfort (d 1544) (of the line of the Counts of Montfort-Tettnang-
Bregenz) to the illegitimate daughter of SIGISMUND I, King of Poland.
Does anyone have details of this marriage and of the bride, and were there
children?

Secondly, the male line of this house died out in 1787. Did Counts
Ernst (d 1759), Franz-Xaver (d1780) or Anton (d 1787) leave any
daughters who married and left issue?
