I have just discovered a copy of 'The Tollemache's of Helmingham and Ham'
by DH Tollemache in the Johannesburg Reference Library - amazing in Africa.

Anyway the L. Tollemache you are looking for is probably Lionel b abt 1420
in Sproughton, Suffolk, d 2 May 1477 who married Isabel Bef 1437. I was
only tracing the male line through their son John, b 1450 - to Anne who m
20 Feb 1610, Helmingham, SFK, Robert V Gosnold of Otley, grandson of Robert
III & Ursula Naunton. Anyway as far as I could tell from a swift check of
the text the lineage back from there is as follows, I'll check in more
detail when I next visit.
