Subject: Re: Tudur Trefor, Ednyfed Fychan, Emma of Anjou, Daffyd ap Owain Gwynedd etc.

According to some notes I once made (unfortunately I
can't remember the source of them), Tudur Trefor
(c.900-948), was "lord" of Whittington and lands in the
Welsh "marches", but he married Angharad daughter of
Hywel Dda, (Hywel ap Cadell, died 949/50), king of
Deheubarth by his wife Elen, daughter of Llywarch ap
Hyfaidd, king of Dyfed.
Dafydd ab Owain Gwynedd, who married Emma of Anjou,
sister of Henry II and daughter of Geoffrey
Plantagenet, died in 1203, so obviously his daughter
couldn't have married Tudur Trefor.
I can't help with a possible link to Ednyfed Fychan, I'm sorry.
