I am trying to establish a birth location for a John Stebbins. DOB 1600.
The information I have gives a birthplace of Watertown or Waterebury,
Connecticut which would not be possible since no one was living in
Connecticut prior to the mid 1630's.

If anyone has any info on John Stebbins (or Stebbing) born in 1600 I am
interested. I would guess he is probably from Essex, England (either Black
Notley, Cranfield, or Wharley). If you have any sources you can reference,
please state them. Thank you
