I have endured so many "Pont d'Alma" and other journalistic errors on this
affair about France that I did not notice. Of course I have no idea about
the etiquette relevant to British nobility anyway. My medieval points of
interest are not in England and those rule are post-middle-age. I sympathize
with your feelings, but think that many of Her Majesty's Subjects may be
routinely wrong on this too.
