President Clinton is not attending because he has not been invited. He
has not been invited because, as you note, it is a PRIVATE service,
because if he went all other nations would also have to send official
delegations thus crowding out all the Britons who want to attend the
services, and because the British have asked that it be more of a
"popular" occasion than an "official" one.....
As for "Mother" Teresa, she will say a good word about anyone
who crosses her palm with silver. Witness her testimony on behalf
of the scurrilous Charles Keating.....
