I am a descendant of Henry Plantagenet, Earl of Lancaster. He was the

younger son of Henry III of England. His grandfather was King John of

England. Henry Plantagenet was the first of the Lancaster family line

that eventually won the throne of England over the York family in the

War of the Roses. The decisive battle in this war was the Battle of

Bosworth Field in which the Lancasters defeated the last Yorkist King,

Richard III. I am a member of the Somerset Chapter Magna Charta Barons.
