Hi Phil,

I'm Susan Taylor from CompuServe. I believe we did the SHAWs a year or
so ago. Your on the mail list! The above messge came thru loud and
clear. It seems you are accessing it thru a mail list and I'm accessing
it as a newsgroup thru my AT&T Internet account. I don't believe one
can access newsgroups thru COmpuServe so the alternative is joining via
the mail list which you have because your message was posted as above.
BTW, Vickie WHITE one of our CSi ROOTS sysops and Jack HILTon are at
least 2 others doing this medieval list or newsgroup. By being on it via
a mail list all the posting are sent to you as e-mail messages. By
accessing it as a newsgroup as I'm doing I don't get the messages as
e-mail. I access it as a newsgroup tru my Netscape browser by selecting
from its menu bar:

Window>Newsgroups

then under File I added it to my newsgroup. AT&T supports these
newsgroups. Every time I go to Newsgroups there sits all the genealogy
newsgroups with unread postings in threads. This way is certainly not
pratical thru CSi for it certainly would eat up online time.

Any how wanted to tell you your query about a confirmation was posted to
the whole list.

--- Susan
