Marilyn:

Thank you for the prompt and thorough reply. I have a hastily copied pedigree
showing a possible son of James II named "James Maurice" or perhaps simply
"Maurice", who m,. a Mary-? Moore. The chart is ambiguous and it's possible
"James Maurice" was a son of Edward, Earl of Clarendon rather than James II. It
also appears that "James Maurice" drowned in the Humber River.

Possibnly you or someone else can clarify this.

What became of Catherine, the dau. of Catherine Sedley?
