I made the mistake of looking at the index (what a novel approach).
There was NO listing for Lindow (Lindau) or Rupin or Ruppin. Therefore,
I concluded that there was NO discussion of it. How could I have
concluded such a thing? The only series I've seen is in SLC at the
Family History Center. It may not be as complete as it should be
(excluding certain parts of the series, as you have pointed out), but it
is the best I had available.

And while I'm at it, would you know if the Loringhoven edition includes
an ancestry on the von Oettingen family? The ES I've seen is silent on
the family, and I'm related to it several different ways.
I have the same problem with the Falkenstein family as well. A whole
series of Philipps, but the ones I've seen continue the line through
their mothers for several generation (like the line couldn't produce
male heirs, so the daughters had the duty to carry on the family name).
