Thank you, Todd, for noticing this. I posted earlier an extensive look at
the "'Taillefer' to 'Taylor'" bogus pedigree and its distribution in the
US. I'd be interested in seeing your () Taylor line if
this is indeed the origin of your belief in descent from the 'Taillefer'
who allegedly fought/died at Hastings (named in the twelfth-century _Roman
de Rou_). I'll repost my Taillefer comments if you're interested.
