While looking at the Drakes in the New England Marriages prior to 1700
I have come across the following: DRAKE, John (-1689, Simsbury, CT)&
Hannah Moore. DRAKE, John (1649-1689)& Mary Watson/Weston, Windsor,
CT/Simsbury, CT. Also according to the Probabe Records of Conn. A
John Drake died July 9, 1689, Simsbury, Ct. adms to Mary Drake the
Widow with children Mary, 15; Hanna, 11; John 1 yr. Then there is
John Drake,sen., Windsor with a will dated September 12, 1689. with
children Job, Enoch, Simon, Joseph, Lydia, Elizabeth, Mindwell. I have
a headache trying to figure this out and think my solution to all of
this is to disinherit the whole bunch!!Mary Ann
