Jim Stevens asked about a Danish connection with the Normand ducal house.

As far as I remember, Robert I was briefly associated (concubine, or Viking
style wife quickly repudiated) with Estrith, daughter of Sven, son of Harald.

Of course Cnut I the Great, brother of Estrith was the second husband of
Emma, daughter of Richard I and Gonor (= Gunnora)

Sven sister (= daughter of Harald) I have as Gunnhild (prob. your other =
Gunnora) married to a Pallig of which I know nothing. If the 2 Gunnora had
been only one, Emma would have married her first cousin. Not impossible, but
most likely it would have been well known and often mentionned.
