Geoffrey, son of Henry II, was Count of Anjou, and also of Brittany
through his marriage to Constance, the heiress.
Geoffrey got Anjou in a biarre division of Henry II's legacy. Henry The
Young King spent much of his short life in Normandy. Richard, the future
Lionheart, got his mother's duchy of Aquitaine. And of course John,
called Lackland, got nothing..... apart from Ireland, which he couldn't
keep ( I believe he insulted the Irish chieftains and started pulling
their beards. Ignorant fop!)
Avidly...
