Hi,
I am a direct bloodline descendent of both Robert the Bruce and Edward Longshanks of England. The movie Braveheart took alot of liberties with what really happened. Isabella never met William Wallace. If I'm not mistaken, she was
only about 12 when she married Edward's son. And yes, she and her lover did
eventually overthrow and murder her husband in favor of her son.
