Mary:
Two Platt cousins settled in Rowley MA, Jonathan before 21 April 1653,
when his name appears in Rowley Records, and his cousin Samuel
who came to Rowley about 1653. Samuel's homestead is now the beautifully
panelled old "Platts / Bradstreet Hpuse" home of the Rowley Historical Society
and can be seen by visitors.
See "Early Settlers of Rowley Massachussetts" G.B Blodgette & Amos E. Jewett,
New England History Press, 1933, Republished 1981, pp.305-307 show
picyures of house and genealogical notes to ca. 1745.
Good luck!
