I can't help with the genealogy, but my road map book shows Greasbrough
as a large village on the NE edge of Sheffield. If you have a reasonable
map, take a straight line from Sheffield to Doncaster, Greasborough is on
this line, just across the M1 from Sheffield. Nearest town would be
Rotherham, SE of the village.
