Subject: Willie of the Wee Winkie and Other Legends

Now that such legends as "Old King Cole" have been pursued to some extent
with the aid of Mother Goose, inquiring minds probably want to know about
this fellow Willie with the wee winkie--whose legend has been passed down
through recent centuries. Way I hear it, despite his physical challenges,
he really "got around" after dark--upstairs, downstairs, all around the
town (or something like that). Was his candle burning at both ends, or
what? Could he have been one of my ancestors?
