Duffel is a place in Belgium, province of Antwerp, canton Lier.
The lords of Duffel in the 12th to 14the century were of the
house of Berthout (aka Bertoud).
I do not know of any van Duffel going to England. As far as I
know the male line of the van Berthouts van Duffel died out
somewhere in the 15th century.
