I would like to locate a copy of the David Bates book, "NORMANDY BEFORE THE
CONQUEST". I checked "Books in Print", but did not find it listed. I did,
however, find a listing for another title by David Bates - "ENGLAND AND
NORMANDY IN THE MIDDLE AGES"

This is not the book you were referring to, is it ? If not, can you give
me more info on finding "NORMANDY BEFORE THE CONQUEST" ?

Today is the first day of the rest of your life ! () Jim
