This was "Getting the Ball Rolling." Thought a better subject line
was appropriate now.
> 1. Sofia of Halicz (about 1140 - 5/5 1198)
>
> 4. Vsevolod (died 11/2 1136), duke of Novgorod, married 1123
> 5. NN. of Tczernigov
> 6. Boleslav III Crivusti (20/8 1086 - 28/10 1138), king of Poland
> 8. Mstislav I (1076 - 15/4 1132), grand duke of Kiev 1125, married 1095
> 9. Christine of Sweden (died 18/1 1122)
>10. Svjatoslav (about 1080 - 14/10 1143), duke of Lutzk
>11. Anna of Kiev (died after 1136)
This numbering scheme really confuses me, as does this lineage, if
I'm reading it right. Anna of Kiev has no relation to Svjatoslav
as far as I know. Instead, I have her as follows:
Grand Dukes of Kiev
Igor = Olga. Their son:
Svyatoslav. By Olga's housekeeper Marusha, had a son:
Vladimir. Many concubines and wives. His son:
Jaroslav = Ingigerd, a Swedish princess
Anna of Kiev = Henry I of France
Are we even talking the same people?
