I don't know about any "Italians from Albania" straight to New Orleans but
do know that many Sicilians that may have Albanian ancestry went to New
Orleans, including my wifes maternal (Monteleone) and paternal (Macaluso)
grandparents.
You might try searching your surname at <FamilySearch.com>.
