The Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society will be meeting on Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m.

Speaker and Topic: Our speaker will be Bill Schu, NWIGS's President, who will be speaking on the 1915 Eastland Ship Disaster, which took place on the Chicago River and resulted in over 800 deaths.


This presentation will be held in the first floor conference room of the Valparaiso Public Library, 103 Jefferson Street, Valparaiso, Indiana.

The regular business meeting will be held prior to this presentation.

Visitors and those new to family history research are always welcome.
