The Federation of Genealogical Societies and the Utah Genealogical
Association invite you to attend "Reminders of the Past: Visions for the
Future" conference September 7-10, 2005 at the Salt Palace Convention Center
in Salt Lake City, Utah. All year long Salt Lake City is a destination for
family history researchers. Make it your destination in September.
Attend lectures offered by nationally known genealogical presenters and
apply that knowledge immediately at the Family History Library, THE research
center for genealogy. In fact, the Library is offering extended hours during
the conference!
And don't forget about being able to pursue the exhibit and vendor hall to
see all the latest in genealogical products, technology and books all under
one roof!

Attend the free Librarian's Day at the FGS/UGA Conference 2005 in Salt Lake
City, UT event hosted by the Federation of Genealogical Societies, Family
History Library, Utah Library Association and ProQuest, Wednesday, September
7th, 2005.
This event includes attending the opening session of the conference
presented by David E. Rencher Societies Going Virtual sponsored by
Genealogical Society of Utah. FGS has extended free attendance to librarians
not registered for the conference to participate in the opening session.
Other presentations include HeritageQuest Online – What You May Not Know
About This Database, Building Your Genealogy Collection, and a panel
discussion – What's Happening in the Genealogy Library World.
Lunch is included in this free day. This event will be held at the Marriott
Salt Lake City Downtown- Brighton Room (75 South West Temple, Salt Lake
City, UT 84101 – phone 801-531-7500). The cost is free, but seating is
