Some save time; others save money, many relate to finding lost or obscure

most often. Using real-world examples, John will have an open question &
answer so you can ask for help with your brick wall.

Dallas Genealogical Society as Vice-President for Education and his church
as Chair of the Information Technology Committee. From 2000 through 2003 he
served on the Board of the Association of Professional Genealogists. He is
the 2004 recipient of the Dallas Genealogical Society Lloyd Bockstruck
Distinguished Service Award.

One of GENTECH's founders, he served as its president for five years. He was
general chair for two GENTECH national conferences and has served on the
program committee for other national conferences. He was an active
participant in the Genealogical Data Model Working Group, and served on the

He and his wife, Barbara, present programs and seminars throughout the U.S.
He has served the Dallas Genealogical Society as Director for Special
Interest Groups, Director for the Computer Interest Group, on the Records
Preservation Committee and on the Capital Expansion Committee. He
