Sandra MacLean Clunies, CG, is a member of the NGS GENTECH Advisory Committee, the NGS/FGS Records Preservation and Access Committee, and a past Director of the Genealogical Speakers Guild. She is President of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), and winner of the 1996 NGS Family History Writing Contest. Certified by the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) since 1993, she served on the adjunct faculty at the National Institute on Genealogical Research (NIGR) 1998-2002 and was President of its Alumni Association 2000-2004. She will be on the faculty of the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR) at Samford University in June 2005 for Course 8: Advanced Use of Genealogical Software.
