You're invited to attend the next Pommern Special Interest Group on Sunday, November 7, 2004. Paul Lipinski, former president and current newsletter editor of the Polish Genealogical Society of California, will be our speaker. He is also a member of the Polish Genealogical Society of America, the NGC-SEA Genealogical Society, and the South Bay Cities Genealogical Society. As a volunteer consultant at the Los Angeles Family History Center, he teaches classes and helps people with their research. His topic will be "The Polish View of Pomerania."
The meeting will start at 2:00 and will be held at the Immigrant Genealogical Society Library (1310 West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, California). As usual, the library will be open for those who wish to use it after the Paul Lipinski talk.
To furthur clarify who we are and what we do, you may want to check out our website www.pomeranianews.com. This tells about our quarterly publication, Die Pommerschen Leute (DPL). The fall issue has been mailed to our subscribers and we await their comments.
