eGenConference Tip
It is now possible to find all census images on line with an index to
match if you are willing to sign up for three services at once:
Genealogy.com; Ancestry.com; and a ProQuest providing society. Between
the first two sites 90% of all federal census records are available.
These two are subscription based but don't forget to try out some FREE
INTERNET CENSUS SERVICES. Try these on for size:
FamilySearch.org - 1880 not linked directly to images, but to
transcripts, with an every-name index. Also, the 1881 British Census
with links to the Shire of birth or another British country.
USGenWeb.org - many transcribed census indexes are available including
substitute census records.
Census-Online.com - essential guide to many individual census sites on
line based on the year.
Cyndislist.com - a guide to census records online as well as other
census resources.
