Croatian Genealogy Seminar

Have you ever wondered where your ancestors came from in Croatia?
Have you wanted to do a family tree?
You have tried to do a family tree but "hit a brick wall" because the old
folks never talked about the old country?
Did your grandparents come from Zagreb?
Have you ever wondered what the meaning is of your Croatian name?
Are you aware that many records for your ancestors from Croatia are
available within a few miles of you?

My own search began back in 1986 and since that time I have made a family
tree, gathered documents and visited "long lost" cousins in the old country.
This has become such a passion with me that I have helped dozens of people
discover their family history! If you are interested in learning how to
learn about your roots, you will want to attend the first Croatian Genealogy
Seminar held in Cleveland.

The Seminar will include:

OHistorical overview of Croatia
OHow and where to begin
OCroatian given names and English translations
OCroatian surnames categories and origins
OWhere to find documentation
OSome things to be aware of
OSome cautions
OCreating a family tree
OWe will hook up to the internet for examples of how to look
OIncluded is a booklet of "how to", examples of various documents, such as
church records, citizenship papers, passports, etc.

The seminar will be limited to 30 people. Pre-registration is required!
